Big Robes
The work you see here is called Robes. And, yes, it’s a “his” and “hers”.
Few people notice that the robes are hollow inside. For some reason, all of my early works were hollow on the inside. I know what you’re thinking—they’re psychological interpretations of the hollowness related to the loss of my daughter. This might be the case; I don’t know. What I do know is that the interpretation of a piece is in the eye of the beholder.
This sculpture won a prize at the International Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence, Italy.
